The Rules of Our Hostel


Check-In/Check-Out: Guests may check in at any time after 14:00 on the day of their reservation. Check-out time is 12:00 on the day of departure. Checking-out guests may stay in the common areas for another 2 hours and leave their luggage in our storage till 21:00 of the day but are not allowed to use the kitchen and other facilities.


ID check on check-in: All guests must provide a valid government-issued ID during check-in for security purposes.


Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 23:00 to 7:00. Please respect other guests and keep noise levels to a minimum during these times.


Personal Belongings: Guests are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. The hostel is not liable for any loss, damage or theft of personal property. We recommend that guests use the lockers provided and keep their belongings with them or under their supervision. Guests are also advised not to leave their personal belongings unattended in common areas.


Laundry: For an additional charge of 5€ (600RSD) we offer a 30° washing cycle of 30 minutes up to 8 kg of clothes including subsequent drying. Using the washing and the drying machines without the presence of our staff is not allowed and will lead to a 10€ (1200RSD) fine. We bear no responsibility for any damages that washing or drying may cause. Washing clothes in the sinks or showers is not allowed.


Towels and bedding: Towels are replaced every 3 days, and the bedding is changed every 5 days. If you don’t want it to be replaced during your stay please inform the hostel staff during check in. If you’d like to replace your towel or bed linen more frequently additional fee may apply. Moving to a different bed costs 5€ (600RSD). If done without the confirmation of the hostel staff it is fined 10€ (1200RSD).


Food or drinks: To prevent pests and maintain cleanliness, food is only allowed in the kitchen, on the terrace, and on the porch/garden. Drinks are also allowed in the common lounge with a reasonable caution. If you use cups/glasses from the kitchen please bring them back once you finish. Neither food nor drinks are allowed in the bedrooms.


No outside guests: Bring outsiders into the hostel without permission from the hostel management is not allowed.


Pets: Pets are not allowed on the premises.


Smoking: Smoking is only allowed on the terrace or one of the balconies. Guests found smoking inside the building will be charged a cleaning fee and may be asked to leave the premises. Cigarette butts should be put out and disposed of in trash / ashtray. Leaving them in flower pots may lead to immediate eviction.


Drugs & Alcohol: Drug use is completely prohibited on hostel premises. Alcohol consumption should be approved and can be denied by the hostel personnel. Intoxicated guests can be asked to leave the hostel.


Damage and Theft: Guests are responsible for any damage or theft caused to hostel property during their stay. Any damages or missing items will be charged to the guest's credit card on file.


Liability: The hostel is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or illnesses that occur during a guest's stay. Guests assume full responsibility for any risks and hazards associated with their stay.


Lost and Found: The hostel will make reasonable efforts to locate and return any lost items left behind by guests. Guests are responsible for the cost of shipping and handling for the return of any lost items.


Privacy: The Hostel staff may take pictures during events or in common areas that later can be used for marketing purposes. The hostel respects the privacy of its guests, so please let us know if you object being present in those pictures.


Courtesy: Please be polite to other guests and stuff. Any discrimination, threats, and offensive behaviour is not welcome in our hostel and won’t be tolerated.


Potential consequences for breaking the house rules:


Verbal or written warning: For minor violations, guests may receive a verbal or written warning from the hostel staff.


Fine:
For more serious violations, guests may be fined for any damage caused.


Eviction: In extreme cases, guests may be asked to leave the hostel immediately without a refund for their stay.


Police involvement: If a guest breaks the law or engages in illegal activity, the police may be called, and the guest may face legal consequences.


We hope that all guests will comply with the house rules to ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all. However, we take any violation of our rules seriously and will take appropriate action to maintain the quality of our hostel.
